The aura of this sacred place is complemented by the sounds of two famous bells - "The Voice of the Calling" and "The Tongue of the Praising", cast in 1922 in the German city of Bochum. Their melodious sounds were first heard in Tartu on Christmas Eve 1923. Climbing up to the bell tower, you will be able to see these wonderful bells, embodying the long history of the church.
