Description
Located in the historic Noblessner Shipyard, Noblessneri valukoda is a major industrial building completed in 1914. Originally a non-ferrous metal foundry and shipyard, today the building has become an iconic venue for cultural events. The majestic hall, with its modern architecture and exceptional acoustics, serves as a venue for world-class concerts. Symphonies by composers such as Arvo Pärt and Heino Eller have been performed here.
Since its first concert under the direction of Tõnu Kaljuste in 2009, Noblessneri valukoda has established itself as a hub for musical life. In 2019, after an extensive restoration, the PROTO Discovery Factory family centre opened in the building, and the Nobel Hall at the rear has become a popular venue for corporate and cultural events.
